Ygvs is an upcoming organization with strong grass root commitment. The organization is primarily engaged in multifarious activities like child & youth development, strengthening of community based oraganization, entrepreneurship development, health, watershed management, ecology & environment conservation in eastern part of uttar pradesh. Finally Yuva Gramya Vikas Samiti wants to be a support so that these groups can be self- reliant to take on the process of development. The organization was established in year 1992 & comprises of community driven volunteers. Prevention of child labour, empowerment of women, child and women right, youth income generation program, protection of environment, rural formar and water harvesting and vocational training programme for women and youth.

Purpose : Thalassemia
Aims/Objectives/Mission : The Society is run and managed mainly by doctors involved in thalassemia care along with members of the Thalassemic families and other community members supporting the Society. The executive committee is the governing body of the society with president and secretary being the chief functionaries. Thalassemic families, doctors and non thalassemic community form the three pillars of the Society working in close coordination. A Thalassemia Working Group comprising of physicians and scientists was constituted in August 2005 and a comprehensive Thalassemia / Hemoglobinopathies Programme instituted in January 2006 expanding the scope and mission of the Society. In January 2010, the organization further expanded its scope and area of work to include other disorders of public health significance and other health related matters transforming into a healthcare non profit organization with Thalassemia / hemoglobinopathies programme as its flagship programme.
